Hotel und Restaurant Nehrener Hof lies in the Steinlach Valley, 100m from Nehren Train Station. The hotel offers rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi, cable TV, and minibar. A restaurant, beer garden, and small spa area are available. Located at the foot of the Swabian Alb mountains, it's a 10-minute walk from Nehren's town centre and 20-minute drive from Schönbuch Nature Park.

Breakfast was good and varied. The room had a slight odor. The terrace was unusable because of loose tiles. We had better rooms elsewhere. The price increase since our last visit was not justified. The same as above.

The cleanliness and the room size were especially good, and there was a terrace. The food was good. The Finnish sauna was fine and sufficient for its purpose. Even though there were criticisms, the value for money was right. It shouldn’t get more expensive. In the sauna area only one of the two showers worked, and the water pressure was very low. The fixtures are no longer top‑class, even the shower fixtures in the room. The Roman steam bath had an unpleasant smell. More scents should be available instead of just one.

Breakfast was small but had everything you need. There were free parking spaces at the property. I ended up with what I consider one of the worst rooms in the hotel. It was dirty and the terrace was not only broken but also unusable because it was right next to the beer garden and offered no privacy – a tripping and injury hazard. The noise made it impossible to relax, and we had to find and remove roaches and cockroaches during the night. Also, at arrival our shower door was broken and barely hung in the frame. We went to the reception twice to report the defects, but they just said we could still shower. I asked for an alternative room, but that was denied. We stayed only one night and won’t return. Normally I write little negative, but this time it was truly awful and a dreadful night. The restaurant service was also catastrophic – it took 45 minutes to finally pay because everyone claimed someone else was in charge of the cashier. The food was mediocre for the price, and to top it off we were swarmed by dozens of flies throughout the meal. No part of the stay was pleasant, no matter what we used.
