We had a great stay at the Braemar, the room was nice and clean, and it’s only a 10‑minute walk into town. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and we’d definitely come back. The only downside was that our room was on the second floor and accessed by stairs; that’s fine for us, but if you have mobility issues you might want to ask for a lower‑floor room.

The owners are lovely, the location is good, and the room was reasonable. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work, the electrical supply was patchy, and the shower was inconsistent.

The place is in a great spot right in front of the beach and very peaceful. The walk to the top‑floor bed was long, the bed itself was not very comfortable, the TV wasn’t working properly, the internet signal was bad, the cushions on the bed needed washing, and it was very dusty.

The owners gave a friendly welcome, the location was ideal, and everything I needed for a weekend stay was there.
