I stayed in a single room that offered great value, close to the metro and restaurants; however, being an old house, the property needs maintenance and upgrades, the room I had had mold and a strong odor, and cleaning was quite lacking—since volunteers handle it, it would help to have a staff member supervise and ensure proper hygiene, organization, and upkeep.

The hostel staff are very attentive, and the location is perfect with easy access to everything; there’s nothing to complain about.

The service is excellent, people are incredibly kind and attentive, everything is very clean, well organized, and it’s a pleasure.

The location is ideal for those who enjoy Vila Madalena’s bars, the mattress is comfortable and the showers are great; despite not being related to the place, I had a small issue with another guest, which the owner resolved promptly.
