The spot is great and cheap, and the bed is super comfy. The staff set up a fantastic 3‑hour jeep sunset tour for us, and the evening buffet was delicious. Some other guests show up for the buffet and dance, which can get a bit noisy for about an hour, but if you’re aware of that, it shouldn’t bother you.

Our stay at Luxury Camp 2 was a mixed bag. On the one hand, the quiet location and stunning views made for an ideal spot for stargazing and watching the sunrise. However, the room locks needed some maintenance, and one of the toilets was overflowing, which was a bit of a nuisance.

I was charmed by the hospitality and friendly staff at this camp, as well as the comfortable amenities and peaceful atmosphere within the camp. However, I had hoped to be located more centrally within the desert, rather than near the road. Unfortunately, this was due to a change in the camp's location, which was owned by the same owner.
