The reception was super friendly, they really tried to understand us and the finish was just right. No complaints at all.

The B&B is tastefully decorated, with a kitchen, separate bedroom and a lovely bathroom just a short walk from Hotton. The location is quiet but still within walking distance of the town centre and the caves, so it's worth a visit. The only downside is no Wi‑Fi, and the hallway light at night is blindingly bright – a dimmer lamp would help.

The B&B is in a great spot, the pallet stove warms up nicely and the view of the garden is lovely. But the stove can give off a chimney smell that sticks to your clothes, the mattress has a hole and is in need of replacement, and there's no TV or comfortable seating. Still, it's close to Hotton so you can grab a bite in the morning.
