Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, solarium, barbecue grill, snack bar, TV room, fully equipped kitchen, and board games. Located just 2.5 km from the city centre.

The room was very old and cramped, with no air‑conditioning, and the highway ran 50 m from the room, making it impossible to sleep due to the noise. The owners didn’t respond to anything, seemed to need a specialist, and laughed at us. No bar or drinks were available, so I had to book other accommodations. Out of more than 200 bookings, this was the worst experience. It’s scandalous that they offer this.

The host is the sweetest woman; she’s always ready with great advice and ensures you have a pleasant stay. All facilities are well provided, and breakfast is tasty and varied. There’s parking on the street, and it’s right between Funchal center and Monte, making it the perfect base. The beds were a bit hard, and the room stayed warm despite good ventilation and a fan, but that didn’t dampen the enthusiasm.

A charming, slightly outdated property in typical Madeira style, good value for money, a nice breakfast, and friendly staff. The bedding was too firm, and pool maintenance was a bit lacking.

The accommodation is on the upper part of Funchal with viewpoints and no parking issues, which is important in Funchal. However, access to the lodging is difficult, with steep roads and complex crossings. Overall, it’s an average price‑quality option. We didn’t get to sleep on the same bed even though we requested it during booking.
