I felt private and immersed in jungle vibes, but loud music, bugs, and day‑pass guests ruined the mood; food was pricey, Wi‑Fi was terrible, the room amenities were below standard, the fan didn’t work, and the room‑control buttons barely responded.

Everything matched: the architecture and overall atmosphere, the spot on the most beautiful beach in El Nido, the great room design, and the exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff—all were perfect, with nothing to complain about.

At ANGKLA, the service and staff were exceptional—from the warm arrival, smooth check‑in, comfortable room, to the resort’s amenities and facilities—so highly recommend it for any couple or family wanting to spend time in Nacpan.

We were welcomed warmly, the transfer was excellent with snacks and water, the room was a showpiece—extremely comfortable and full of gifts, and the hotel sits on a beautiful beach with an incredible sunset, though it’s a bit far from the center. The staff were very kind and treated us superbly. We booked a beach dinner that was absolutely perfect, a memory we’ll cherish forever. The breakfast was okay, à la carte and not many options. Because it’s a beach club, the common area (pool and beach) gets very busy and loud; despite rules, people jumped in the pool and it was uncomfortable to stay for long.
