Our bathroom had no hot water on the second day. There was trash left in our room from previous guests. At one point during the night an alarm in the hallway was sounding repeatedly.

The scenery and views at the hotel are stunning. Everything met my expectations.

The staff were very pleasant. I had a large room alone with a window overlooking the intersection and the mountains.

The location near the bus station, a warm shower, rooftop terrace, plenty of blankets, and a large room were positives. The staff lied to us. We asked if there was a bus to Maras; they said no. They offered to take us there on a motorcycle with our luggage for 80 Soles. We later found out a bus existed and took it. Their English was lacking. They apparently have no online booking system, so they didn't know we had booked online. The price didn't match either; they wanted 85 Soles instead of 75 Soles. We negotiated down to 80 Soles, but it was still rude to argue about the price on site, especially when arriving late at night. The walls need painting; a color other than green or orange would be more appealing.
