“Okay für die Durchreise”

I have to admit I liked the fully digital check‑in… After sending the documents via email or WhatsApp (which I didn’t find ideal), I received a long message with all the check‑in details and rules. The rooms are on the 3rd floor (no elevator), the living area is modern and attractive, but the rooms feel more like a youth hostel, very simple. The whole electronics setup with the light switches and the colourful shower light (if you just want plain light without fiddling with a remote) can be a bit annoying. Apparently the assigned parking spots didn’t sit well with some of the other guests, who told us we’d have to move, even though the host had already mentioned it beforehand.

The room was spacious. The third floor has no elevator, and you only learn that after paying online at check‑in.

The place was quiet and the staff handled cleanliness well, providing the necessities. The lack of an elevator in the common lounge was a downside.

The decor was cute and there was ample parking space. The smart‑home system was complicated and only partially worked, and the remote for opening the bathroom blinds was hard to use. The bathroom had a bad smell, probably drainage issues. The worst part was that the bathroom had a curtain instead of a door, so it was hard to keep odors and noises out; a sliding door would have sufficed. The room had a double bed but the sheets were single.

Everything was well‑kept and ultra‑modern. Getting inside wasn’t easy; the host said “too busy” and I had to swipe over the door handle several times before the keypad appeared.
