The host is very nice and you can tell she genuinely enjoys having guests. She’s open, friendly, and helpful. Unfortunately, the place didn’t convince me overall. The rooms are basically okay, but from my view the cleanliness needs a lot of improvement. It was dusty, somewhat untidy, and there were spider webs. There was also mold in the room. The building as a whole feels a bit run-down and not well maintained. Water damage is visible. The bathroom has no window, which creates an unpleasant, harsh odor. I had expected the accommodation to be much cleaner, better cared for, and in better condition. The host herself is really likable and makes an effort. With more attention to cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep, the place could be much more pleasant.

Beautiful and unusual lodging! Very comfortable with a generous and varied breakfast that the host prepared for just 5 euros per person.

“Soooooooo schön!”

The location was fantastic, the host extraordinarily friendly, and the accommodation is indescribable. Quiet, unique, and it felt like home from the start. We were in Stein/Melk, but also in Mexico. There’s nothing to mention as a downside; I can only wish this exceptional woman the best for her next venture 🤓

“Wenn man gern bergauf geht und die Ruhe mag, dann perfekt.”

Late check‑out was hassle‑free and the host was always reachable. The bed was very comfortable. The internet was bad, no working network. Charging 5€ for canned beer was excessive.
