The owner was engaged, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. In the evenings we were offered a snack – very tasty and generous, though not exactly cheap. It was all organic. We felt the breakfast was too expensive at 25 €.

The hotel was particularly quiet and secluded. I had a very nice room in the old manor house and felt right at home. The isolation made the night very restorative. A single complaint remained: the price for breakfast felt extremely inflated and marred the otherwise great impression of the property. For 25 €, one would expect a 5‑star level breakfast. The price‑performance ratio was off, which is why I ate alone. With a more reasonable price of 15 €, I would have given a perfect 10.
