“I stayed in a 10bed female dorm. I was a bit unsure at first I ended up being really happy”

The spot is spot on – the city is tiny, so everything’s within walking distance, and there’s a bus stop right by the hostel for those who don’t feel like walking. My room, shower, toilet and bed linens were all spotless. The beds came with curtains, individual lights, power outlets and hooks – those little touches were really handy. As a solo female traveller, I was thrilled with everything! The only drawback was that the metal lockers made a clatter when opened and closed.

“Good stay”

The location is great, close to all the activities and the road stays quiet. The beds are comfy and clean. The price feels a bit steep for what you get, but it’s fair compared to Bruges. Some rooms sit in a separate building from reception, so you have to step outside to reach them, which is a bit inconvenient if you want to refill your water bottle. Nothing on the hostel itself, but like any shared space, the quality of the stay also depends on the others. In my case, a group that thought the room was theirs only made it hard for me to sleep.
