The reception staff were very nice and helpful, and the view of the bay is beautiful. However, our room, especially the carpet, smelled very foul. We were only there for one night, so next time I would choose a different hotel. Because we were not satisfied with the room hygiene, we decided to skip breakfast, so we have nothing to say about it.

The location makes it easy to reach other tourist spots, and the hotel is close to the market, the beach, and you can see the fire beach bridge. The building is under renovation, so the room is next to the construction site, which makes it noisy and the sand and dirt are everywhere; there is no construction barrier, which is dangerous for families with small children. The hotel didn’t warn us about these inconveniences, but I can understand it because we just survived a big storm. If they had informed us, it would have been more courteous.

“絕境下龍市的一點光”

本人於9月8日，即超強颱風摩羯吹襲後的一天入住這家酒店。當時整個下龍市陷入絕境，滿目瘡痍，這家酒店也受到嚴重損毀。酒店前台起初跟我說對不起，他們表示也無法保護我了。正當我無助之際，前台職員跟我說有個房間剛清理完可以入住，這簡直是拯救了我的生命。在當時的環境裡，下龍市可以提供電力的地方是非常罕有，而這家酒店就是其中能提供電力和wifi的地方，可見它是可靠和有實力的酒店。我實在非常感激它們當日的收留，應付了我的基本需要，現在我已經安全回到香港了，但心裡仍然一直感激他們樂於助人的態度，和實力信心的能力保證。. 雖然當日曾發生停電和沒有早餐供應，但在當時酒店嚴重損毀的情況來說，真的已經心存感恩，沒有什麼值得批評的了。
