“Excelente posada”

The inn is far from San Isidro’s center, which didn’t bother me at all; in fact, it was a plus. It takes 20 minutes on foot through a path with climbs. We were alone at the inn and Edmundo took care of us, cooked dinner, and shared a lot about San Isidro and his family, making him an excellent host. The room was beautiful, super clean, and comfortable; mine had a very clean window overlooking the mountain. There are plenty of common areas to spend the day, and I would have liked to stay another day. I have nothing negative to add.

The owner of this peaceful haven at the end of the world is exceptionally kind and offered great advice during our stay. The food is tasty. I highly recommend it!

The stay at the accommodation is ten out of ten. When you arrive on foot to San Isidro, you must keep climbing for about half an hour more on a beautiful path that’s worth it and I’d do it again. From the accommodation you receive a message beforehand explaining the route with map directions, and you’re always in contact. The place is beautiful, with meticulous attention to every detail. In the room there’s a window in the ceiling to see the stars. Highly recommended. The facilities are first‑class and very well cared for. It’s noteworthy that they managed to build such a structure and facilities given the difficulty of transporting materials. Breakfast is included and you can also book dinner. At the accommodation you can talk with Edmundo, who I strongly recommend, and he will tell you about life in the village, his daily routine, and very interesting anecdotes. I recommend staying more than one night to fully enjoy the experience because it’s beautiful.

It was really a very comfortable and clean place. Edmundo and his family gave excellent, very kind service. The views were amazing and below it was a river that you can easily access to enjoy the scenery. They also have a garden and harvests there, and Edmundo generously shared information with us. The food was excellent, very home‑style, inexpensive, and tasty—10 points. The room’s cleanliness and comfort were exceptional, with immaculate mattresses and sheets. The only thing I might add to breakfast would be something more, like eggs, but everything else was very good.
