We loved our 2 night stay here. We booked the airport pick-up, which made it very easy to get there. On the way out, we booked our own ride via Grab, which was also no problem. The lodge is a very short boat ride away from the main dock and little village. You can also take the back road to walk there. You can reach multiple sites by foot from the lodge, like the prehistoric cave and Firefly cave. We visited these ourselves on the afternoon we arrived. On our second day we took a boat tour to the other sites. The price for an English speaking guide was quite high, but the people from ecolodge arranged a local guy to take us around to some of the sights, which was great for us. In the afternoon he picked us up again to go watch the flying bats. The food at the ecolodge was very good, both dinner and breakfast. The room is very basic, but comfortable enough for a 2 night stay. There was a very powerful fan in our room, which made the sleeping temperature perfectly fine. We did not have issues with mosquitoes or other bugs at all. Not even outside in the lounge area. The bathroom is very rustic, and like others say, the shower doesn't always have pressure. We washed ourselves with the bucket, which was no issue for us. Our sink did have running water and some soap, and they gave us some towels. We also liked that they had filtered water available to fill up our bottles. Overall I think staying here one or two nights is perfect. You could technically see all sights in one day, but you will be very hot by the end of it, so I would highly recommend doing it in 1,5 or 2 days. The lodge could be improved by some lounge chairs (or hammocks) in the lounge area. We liked the vibe in this area, but there were only hard wooden chairs to sit on
