The breakfast was surprisingly good, with eggs, sausage, pancakes, bagel, muffins, oatmeal, and cold cereal; I’m used to a basic breakfast but they had more than I’m used to, even yogurt in the fridge. I requested to be on the top floor, was told I was, but I ended up not.

I could get to the hotel straight from the Interstate, and the room was spotless and roomy.

The place was well‑located, the staff were friendly, and the rooms were clean. I was disappointed that ABC wasn’t available as a channel, so I couldn’t catch the college football game I wanted, and the TV also didn’t allow streaming.

The room was clean and the staff were helpful, but there were lots of sirens from the hospital across the street and the pancake machine didn’t work.
