The bed was comfortable and the shower lovely, and the smart TV was a nice touch. The only downside was the weather—cyclone warnings made it less enjoyable.

The unit was well kept and situated very close to town and the beach, making it a perfect base for exploring the area; they supplied plenty of local tips and even shovels for Hot Water Beach.

The space was cozy and clean, and the host was very friendly and helpful—she even drove me to Hot Water Beach and arranged a pick‑up because I had no transport. It was a really nice stay, though it is quite pricey, especially for a solo traveler; for the same money you’d get a luxury hotel room in a city, but that’s the Coromandel price.
