The castle is beautifully maintained and everyone is very kind to guests. The chefs serve dinner with a delicate touch that really stands out.

“Nice location”

We only stayed one night as a layover, so our expectations were modest, especially after reading mixed reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. In the evening a DJ played great music until 10 PM, after which the place fell into complete silence, which was perfect. Both dinner and breakfast were very good. The spa was clean and well maintained, with warm water and very nice saunas. The surroundings are beautiful, with a Buddhist temple nearby and lovely hills covered with vineyards and plenty of grapes. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

“Ha Simontornya (vagy a környéke, akkor csakis Fried Kastély Hotel !!!”

The hotel is set in a very beautiful setting, with gorgeous carved furnishings throughout the building. The room had three roof‑level windows, and the middle one had a sturdy mosquito net that made the open‑window night sleep very pleasant. You wake up to the chirping of birds in the morning, so it’s perfect! The staff fulfill every request, are smiling, young, and kind. Getting to the dining area is a bit of a walk (we were on the second floor), but that’s no problem; a little stroll is always good. Breakfast and dinner operate on a self‑serve basis, and as soon as food runs out it is replenished immediately. The selection is varied, tasty, and the kitchen runs with excellent chefs. We had very little time to spend here.

The resort is beautiful, the dinner is excellent. The beds are not dry, the service is friendly but could improve in professionalism.
