The price was good and the staff friendly, but the lack of a diner or restaurant was a bit inconvenient.
“Drive away….do not look back!”
The location was handy, right off the main highway, yet upon checking in I was told a deposit would be placed on my credit card and when I asked—once and then again—about when it would be returned, I was ignored. Breakfast was served in a grungy reception area, and the fruit loops in the cereal dispenser had no colour, likely because they were old. The toilet in our room flushed once and took about 40 minutes to refill; I reported this immediately and was told it was a brand‑new toilet. The floor in the room was uneven, causing me to almost trip several times. My granddaughter and I slept with our feet where our heads should have been because the headboard was so sunken. The pool area was a nightmare: the stairs to the pool were covered in slime, and there were globs of hair on the tiles surrounding the pool.
The poolside room was fantastic, far better than we expected for the price, and everything else was fine—no complaints at all.
