“Schön aber gibt auch bessere”
Friendly hosts, great location, everything clean and well kept. They really went the extra mile. The pool area was beautifully set up and we liked that we could play billiards there too. The only downside was breakfast – same menu every day even though there were only four of us; a bit more variety would have been nice. The garden chairs were terribly uncomfortable – new ones would be welcome. The pool was full of algae. The room had a strange smell for me, but I’m pregnant and my husband didn’t think it was a big deal.

The hosts, the setting, the beauty of the place, the tranquility, the pool – all great. The downside: the bathroom is outside the room and there’s no shower, only a bathtub.
We had such a beautiful stay at Podere San Giuseppe. The place is peaceful, quiet and full of such a lovely energy — you really feel relaxed from the moment you arrive. What made it even more special were the hosts. They were so kind, thoughtful and genuinely caring, and you can really feel how much attention they put into making their guests feel comfortable and welcome. They also helped us organize biking by the lake and horse riding, even though these activities are not directly provided by the property. They arranged everything for us so kindly, and both experiences were absolutely lovely. It was one of those stays that feels simple, warm and special because of the people behind it. We left with such a good feeling and would be very happy to come back

Breakfast isn’t continental; it’s more regional. The shower was underperforming.
