Friendly staff, great food, and secure parking for our motorcycle and trailer made the trip smooth.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; after five exhausting days of walking, we arrived on a day the restaurant was closed and were treated to a fantastic cold supper of salads, cold meats, and egg custard tart, making us feel right at home in this relaxed, quirky family‑run hotel. Nothing else to note.

The restaurant is definitely recommended. Breakfast was rather limited to a croissant and a sandwich, and it was very cheap. I would have preferred a better selection for an egg and an extra sandwich. The village itself offers little to do, and while parking is fine, the long walk through the garden to the entrance is a hassle with luggage.
