The front sliding door was jammed; I had to force the heavy door open and close. The drink vending machines were broken and the area was filthy.

I’m writing to contest charges that appeared on my credit card for accommodations in Sarasota, Florida that I never used. I was in Sarasota for only one night on my U.S. trip. After issues with my original booking, I ended up staying only at La Quinta Inn, and I have the official receipt proving that was the sole hotel I used. I accept the charge for La Quinta Inn, but I’ve found unexpected charges on my card: a posted charge on July 15 for Days Inn Sarasota, a hotel I never stayed at; a pending charge dated July 16 from Days Inn Sarasota, even though I received no accommodation or services there; and a second pending charge dated July 16 from Sleep Inn, another hotel I never stayed at. The situation was: my reservation at Sleep Inn was cancelled in person because the hotel had no electrical service after a severe storm the night before, and the front desk confirmed they couldn’t provide accommodation. I then went to Days Inn Sarasota, where the receptionist said there was no reservation under my name, so I didn’t check in or use any services. Still needing a place, I finally stayed at La Quinta Inn for my only night in Sarasota, and I have the receipt to prove it. It’s impossible that I used or occupied three different hotels during the same period. The only accommodation I actually received was at La Quinta Inn. Therefore, I respectfully request an immediate investigation of these charges.

Buenas noches, ante todo mis saludos. Todo muy bueno: la higiene fue excelente y el personal muy amable. Lo único que no me gustó fue el desayuno; no estaba muy bueno y había muy pocas cosas para consumir.
