The staff were friendly and helpful, the location and views were nice, and laundry could be done on site. However, the photos don’t accurately represent the property, there were stains and mold on the walls, the bathroom was in a different room, the door couldn’t be locked, there were no railings on the high balcony, the shower was falling, and the water pressure was weak.

The guesthouse sits in a stunning setting, within walking distance of several nearby waterfalls. The hostess is very kind and cooks wonderfully, going out of her way to make us feel at home and always ready to answer questions about local activities. The balcony view is a big bonus.

The host was friendly, the location was great, and the atmosphere was peaceful and calm; the last few meters to the house are steep and uneven, but a good car makes it doable.

The place sits in a superb spot, making it an ideal base for anything we wanted to do, and it’s run by a friendly couple and their son who were extremely welcoming. The host gave us great suggestions on where to explore locally, and the homemade Georgian dinner and breakfast were delicious; they even produce their own wine and chacha and showed us the cellar. Our family of five with three teens stayed in the family room plus a double room – both are pretty basic, which actually adds to the overall vibe of the setting. Everything was tidy and well‑kept, and there’s a shared lounge with a pool table and an outdoor balcony with seating. Thanks for everything! The two rooms we used felt dated and could use a refresh; while some might find that charming, they’re bordering on too worn. The mattresses were rather old and saggy, you could feel the springs, so a bit of modernization would help without losing the place’s character.

The location was fine, but the room was a cramped attic with damp walls, mold, mildew, and fungus; photos look much better.
