I stayed in a spotless, secure hotel with a room that was super comfortable and offered four pillow styles to choose from, plus a Starbucks right in the hallway; the only downside was the lack of a shuttle service in Houston, but I’d still pick Marriott over Hilton.

The decor looked good, but towels had hair on them, the Wi‑Fi was down, and the shower head seemed clogged while the vent wasn’t working, leaving the room a little muggy and humid.
