“in die Tage gekommenes, aber sauberes Hotel, ausserhalb von Neapel”
The breakfast was decent, Italian‑style and plentiful, and the rooftop view was fantastic when you get a garden‑facing room, which is quiet. However, the swimming pool required an extra fee, was mostly used by outside guests and lots of children, making it noisy; I was first offered a street‑facing room, which was very loud and not a good base for exploring Naples, as it’s far from the centre – 10 minutes to the train and then a 40‑minute ride into the city.
The staff were very friendly, but the breakfast was lacking.
The staff were very kind and well organized.
The cleaning staff were the best part of the hotel, always keeping everything tidy and swapping out towels and linens with fresh ones. As for the overall standard, it feels more like a two‑star place than a three‑star one – basically a hostel with nice tiles, hidden fees for using the pool after booking, a typically Italian breakfast, and a foul‑smelling ham on the last morning. The owners should consider raising the bathroom and room standards for the price. The farther you go into the forest, the more trees you see, but on the plus side there is air‑conditioning and a sea‑view room.
“Non ci tornerò”
The location was great, yet the room felt old, the shower box was broken, and the space was very minimal.
