Only the location mattered. The photos of the rooms were different; it turned out to be a beauty salon turned “room rental.” When we arrived they gave us a different room than the one booked, with a very small discount, and it was in deplorable condition: dirty sheets, mold on the walls, an unclean bathroom, dust everywhere, a moldy bag inside the microwave, and the ceiling had an open panel.

The location is convenient.

It’s in the center of Hanoi’s old quarter, so being in the center made it easy to get everywhere. The bathroom was dirty, the shower was very small, the sink was tiny. The bed had dirty stained sheets and pillows.
