The accommodation offers the basics for a one‑ or two‑night stay, and its biggest selling point is the location right next to Sultanahmet Square and many attractions. Getting there is tough because there’s no signage; you have to enter like a currency exchange shop and it’s on the upper floors. The place shows its age and needs a small renovation, but the location makes up for it.

The spot is perfect, right next to the Blue Mosque. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. It’s part of a restaurant that has a currency exchange, but the room itself is separate. The furnishings are a bit worn, the lights need maintenance, the bathroom is narrow, and the blinds let in all the morning light.

The staff were amazing, welcoming and eager to help. The restaurant next door, run by the same owners as the hotel, was a lovely spot to eat and offered great value. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from nearby mosques and the Havaist bus terminal. On the downside, the bed was uncomfortable and very low; there were no seats or cupboards in the room to unpack, making it feel like a hostel and quite claustrophobic. The TV in the room had no signal or aerial, so it was basically useless.

The location was excellent, just a minute’s walk from the Blue Mosque. The room was spacious and the staff were very friendly. The bathroom came with gels, shampoos, and the linens were pure white. The accommodation included a kitchen, washing machine, ironing board, and iron, making it perfect for a short stay. The only issue was a lack of blankets, but they were brought upon request. There was no hot water on the first day, likely due to some maintenance, but we didn’t contact staff and hot water appeared the next day.

Nothing. I would not recommend this “hotel” at all. Do not choose this option under any circumstances. It’s hard to even call it a hostel. There are two major flaws. First, the smell – a mix of cat urine and an odorant used to mask it. Even after a month my shoes still smell that way, even though I only stayed in the room for 15 minutes. Second, the hot water problem. I waited a long time, but it never came; both taps only had cold water. We were checked in by a waiter from a café on the ground floor, and we never saw any hotel staff. In the end we left and booked another nearby hotel. No one refunded our money. Unfortunately, no photos were taken.
