“Overall, while the room itself was clean and matched the photos perfectly, the poor air conditioning and extremely disap”
The room itself was clean, tidy, and exactly as shown in the photos, with daily cleaning so there were no complaints about the room. The stay was disappointing, especially because the air conditioning was old and couldn’t handle the heat; the room stayed extremely hot even with the AC on, making sleeping and staying uncomfortable during the hot summer weather. For a hotel in Croatia, proper air conditioning should be a basic necessity. The other major disappointment was the breakfast, which cost an extra €14 per person but only offered bread, some cold cuts, and a couple of jams. For that price, we expected a proper breakfast, at least something like eggs, vegetables, or other options. I asked the staff if that was really the entire breakfast and whether anything else, such as eggs or vegetables, was available. I was told, “Of course, what kind of eggs would you like?” Four fried eggs were then brought to our table, even though there were three of us. The worst part came at checkout, when we discovered that we had been charged an additional €7 for those four eggs. Nobody told us beforehand that the eggs would cost extra. If we had known, we obviously would not have ordered them. Overall, while the room itself was clean and matched the photos perfectly, the poor air conditioning and extremely disappointing breakfast made our stay much less comfortable. €14 per person for such a basic breakfast is already expensive, and unexpectedly charging extra for the eggs without informing us beforehand was particularly unpleasant. We definitely would not pay for breakfast here again.
