“We hadden hier een geweldig verblijf met een fantastischegastheer”
It’s not a large hotel but a small stay with a wonderful host. We also enjoyed a delightful dinner and Japanese breakfast, everything was prepared with a lot of love. Everything was in order.
“Not ok stay...”
The location and staff were good, but the heating didn’t work properly, the room was a bit small, the bathroom tiny, and hot water was unreliable. It was hard to keep the room cool because the heater failed. When we took bedding from Almarah, it was dusty and caused suffocation; those cupboard items need thorough cleaning.
The owner and staff were very, very friendly and we were warmly welcomed. We dined twice, and the meals were excellent. However, the prices were excessive even though it was November and a weekend; rates were higher than in Tokyo for a three‑star property. The bathroom looked outdated.
“Big room & fine location”
The place was laid‑back and relaxed; our room was spacious and comfy, though plain and no‑frills. It sits right next to a bus stop and is about a 40‑minute walk to the city centre. Extra‑charge breakfasts and dinners are offered, handy since Nikko has few eateries and it’s tough to snag a table without booking ahead. The downside is breakfast starts at 8, which feels late if you want to hit the sights early or go hiking. The dishes were almost identical for breakfast and dinner—meat patty, miso, sausage.
“部屋が広くてびっくり。”
大人3人、小人2人、素泊まりで利用させていただきました。寝室の他に和室もあり、家族でゆったりと過ごせました。次回は食事もお願いしようと思っています。
