The hotel was tidy and looked nice, the breakfast hit the spot and the staff were genuinely friendly. It’s just a short walk to the gondola, which is perfect if you want to head up to the higher hiking trails. All in all, a pleasant base for a day on the mountains.

The pool there is just wonderful – crystal clear water and plenty of space to relax. I spent most of my downtime lounging by it and it made the stay feel like a mini‑vacation.

The place boasts a great location, a nice pool and a tasty breakfast, but the beds were way too soft and sagged under you. Still, the positives outweigh the sleep‑comfort issue if you’re okay with a bit of a flop.

This traditional mountain hotel has been modernised inside – the rooms feel fresh, the breakfast is solid and parking is included, plus it’s only a five‑minute walk to the cable car. The receptionist was exceptionally kind, and while the half‑board or à‑la‑carte meals are pricier than you’d find elsewhere in Switzerland, the food was satisfying. Overall, everything felt pretty average, nothing spectacular but no major complaints either.

The location offers stunning views and the room was spacious, while the garden with its pool felt very kid‑friendly – our daughter loved it and even learned to swim. Food was tasty and the drinks were spot‑on, leaving us with nothing to complain about.
