From the moment we booked this accommodation, Rashmika helped us with everything. He arranged a transfer from Mirissa to Udawalawe and from there to Ella. He organized a safari tour and was very kind and welcoming throughout my questions. He even fixed a cake for my husband's birthday and gave us passion‑fruit juice straight from the garden. He prepared breakfast toasts that we could have on the safari and supplied fresh juicy watermelons and papaya from his garden. Everything was locally produced in his garden, which is amazing and really shows in the taste as well. At the accommodation, they had thought about everything from universal sockets to air conditioning to cleanliness. It was a peaceful atmosphere when you enter the accommodation with beautiful plants growing everywhere. I wish we had stayed for at least 2 nights instead of one. Thank you again to Rashmika for helping us with everything and welcoming us!

The little bungalow sits in the middle of a gorgeous garden full of all kinds of fruit trees. It's a bit off the beaten path but very quiet. We took the safari the hotel offered and had a great experience for a very reasonable price. The host even drove us to the bus stop on the day of our departure. A few stains were on the bedding, and breakfast was very basic—just an egg sandwich.

The staff were friendly, the air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable. The grounds were beautiful with well‑kept plants and trees, all very charming. After booking, I arranged a full day safari directly with the hotel and we coordinated everything through WhatsApp. Sachintha, our safari driver, was 10/10: 20 years of experience, expert driving, deep knowledge of the safari grounds and animals, and he was great at predicting animal movements so we saw the action at the right time. I highly recommend staying here just to have Sachintha as your driver. The shower was a bit hit‑and‑miss; you had to turn on an electric water heater and the temperature wasn’t consistent, which was a bit annoying.
