As a hotelier, I pay close attention to detail when staying elsewhere, and this place surprised me. The welcome was warm and professional, everything was clean, and the room was well equipped. I would have liked the breakfast to stay open an extra hour; I arrived late in the evening after a flight and missed it because the restaurant closed at 09:30.
The WiFi was actually working and included in the daily rate, contrary to what the website claimed. However, the hotel did not accept international credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, or AmEx, forcing me to make an advance payment. This caused a brief stir because SEPA transfers require precise beneficiary details beyond just the IBAN. Once the hotel supplied the correct information and unlocked the SEPA conditions, everything was resolved smoothly.
After confirming a reservation on Booking, we called the hotel for confirmation, and the receptionist told us the hotel was fully booked and asked us to cancel.
“Night shift stuff not polite”
The place was fairly clean, but I would give it a 7/10 because the blankets seemed heavily used. The elevator and rooms were fine, though the hallway needed more cleaning. Breakfast was acceptable, the day‑shift staff were polite, and the receptionist and a young man were alright. The guy with glasses was dishonest and manipulative in his words.
