The rooms were cool, creative and unique in the old building, and the staff were young and alert—big kudos.

The staff were super friendly, the restaurant great, and the wine list impressive. Breakfast was also very good. The building is old with a certain patina and modern touches that you might like or not, like an open bathroom without a door. Everything so far would have been a 5‑star candidate for me. Unfortunately the hotel sits right next to a heavily trafficked railway line. The windows are high‑quality sound‑proof, which keeps you safe in winter, but are unbearable in summer. Rooms on the 2nd floor supposedly have air conditioning – make sure you get one of those.

The highlight of this hotel is the restaurant – the food is extremely good and the staff are very, very friendly. The room amenities leave much to be desired: the bathroom/shower is only separated from the bedroom by a curtain, there’s no storage in the bathroom, no glasses or cups, and power outlets are scarce.

The renovated old hotel room looks great with the preserved old floors. Sound‑insulated windows kept the many passing trains from disturbing sleep. The café is pleasant, breakfast is good, and the central location is convenient. Parking in the basement is very close, although no information was given on the booking confirmation. The “open” toilet, lacking a solid door and with glass in the shower wall, is uncomfortable and unnecessary.
