I found no positives at all, but everything was a problem: there was no furniture to put my stuff on, no table or chair, and the bed was stuck in a corner of a room less than 9 square metres. The kitchen was outside and the hygiene was very limited; the bathroom was also outside the room and you had to walk through a courtyard to get there, which was impractical at night. To top it off, there was no real breakfast, just fruit offered.

“Joyful, simple, value for money accommodation”

The location was close to the bus terminal and the price was great for the money. The owner helped me without hesitation when I lost my passport, drove me around to make reports, spoke on the phone with people, and volunteered his time without being asked.

The staff were very kind and cordial. I thought the bathroom was inside the room, which made it a bit uncomfortable to leave.

Victor, the host, was a dream. He was super nice and accommodating, answering all questions about the area in great detail. The garden was also beautifully laid out. The cabins are a bit rustic but in true Mayan style, yet they have air conditioning and plenty of space and light.

“I would stay here again”

I liked how rustic it was but I had everything I needed . There's two Cabanas there and the other one didn't have anybody staying at it. There's a communal kitchen where I was making breakfast
