The door handle was broken—you had to lift, push, then swipe a card to open. The blankets had burn holes, pillowcases were stained, towels were full of hair, the bathtub was rusty, the remote had bike marks, a substance on the bed skirt looked like human waste, the AC had all its buttons broken and only worked at 68° when plugged in, and it couldn’t be turned off or adjusted—disgusting.

I was disappointed because the reservation wasn’t honored; they handed me a room with only one bed and no air conditioning.

I didn’t enjoy my stay at all – the hotel had rats, the sheets were stained, there was no room service, and the office looked like a dump.

I’ve never been so let down by a hotel room; there were bed bugs, the AC kept cycling on and off and barely cooled the room, no toilet paper or paper towels (they said the truck hadn’t delivered), and the furniture was falling apart. I called the front desk on my cell phone because the room had no phone, and the woman promised to be there in 30 minutes to “evaluate” the room, but that was already 45 minutes ago.
