The staff were foreigners but very friendly and comforting. The private room was decent in design, clean, and comfortable. There were no major issues, but the parking entrance was confusing.

The smoking area with a roof and chairs was nice. The room was clean, but the neighbor was separated only by a single plywood board. During my stay there were no noisy guests, but anyone who is bothered by noise might not sleep well. Earplugs were provided. The cost of this stay (4,900 yen) seemed cheap for Ueda, but I don’t think I’ll stay there again.

The reception café was spacious, stylish, and calming, and the staff were friendly. The parking lot had more spaces than I expected, which was a relief.

The room was spotless and had just enough supplies to be comfortable, and the free parking was a bonus. I also found a free library with books that made my downtime worthwhile. Thank you! I was shocked by the rudeness of the front desk staff at check‑in—maybe they were busy or in a bad mood? Fortunately, there were other staff who were cheerful and courteous, which saved the day. The building had no soundproofing; even with earplugs, I woke up to other guests opening and closing the front door and talking in the middle of the night. The sensor light in front of the door would turn on every time a guest passed, leaking light into the room through the door gap, which was annoying.

The vibe where town, art, and people intersected was amazing. Watching a play at the theatre and then finding the same space transformed into a lovely café the next morning felt like an illusion.
