“Decepcionante”

The only thing worth mentioning is the location. The accommodation turned out to be a scam; the rooms were truly disgusting. The bathroom was dirty, the walls were peeling from dampness, there were cockroaches, the shower towels were already stained when handed over, and the sheets had stains too. We couldn’t use the pool at all because the water was cloudy and there were floating objects. The worst part was that the room next to ours was sealed off by the police. Days later, the police and firefighters arrived in gloves and masks and removed everything in the room into plastic bags. We were very concerned, asked for details, but they wouldn’t give us much, only saying the guest had left, which still felt unsettling. Imagine what could have happened there. We booked three rooms for a group of five and stayed for five nights, so it wasn’t just one room issue but the whole hotel. We’ve stayed in various places across Asia, and this place wasn’t among the cheapest; given everything above, we felt very deceived and none of us had a comfortable stay.

The location and air conditioning were good. The room was missing a mirror. 🤭

The staff were very friendly and the grounds were well kept. A massive mosque right behind the property woke us at 4.30 every morning, and the mosque called to prayer four times a day, which disturbed our sleep. The pool and sun loungers were in poor condition, so we didn’t use them. The hotel needed renovation and updating, as there were stains around the rooms and bathrooms. We noticed some work had already begun on the front of the building, so renovations might be finished by the time you book.

The location is great for going out partying, right next to the port. They offer bike rentals. The staff are extremely kind.
