“Convenient Location, But Major Cleanliness Issues”

I found the place handy, with Hwajeong Station nearby and plenty of shops and eateries. The staff answered online requests for extra towels and a key quickly. Free streaming on the TV was a bonus. However, the room was filthy; we avoided touching surfaces and even cleaned them ourselves. The bed headboard was duct‑taped to the wall, hair littered the floor and bathroom, and the tub seemed never scrubbed. Shower water hit the wall and splashed everywhere, soaking the room. For a two‑person booking, self‑check‑in only gave one key and one towel, so we had to ask for more. A dusty, boarded‑up window area with exposed wires made the room feel even worse. Two computers were present but lacked necessary cords, so they were unusable. The hotel also seemed to function as a short‑stay/adult venue, which wasn’t disclosed; loud neighbors stayed late, and cigarette smoke was strong outside rooms on the 6th floor, indicating indoor smoking.

There were plenty of convenience stores and food spots nearby, more than I expected, and there were also many things to do; the room was well sound‑proofed. What I liked most was the key‑less check‑in at night, which was very convenient. The computer was handy for watching YouTube while eating. The downside was that there were many bars around, so people smoked or behaved oddly while passing by, but given the price and location, it wasn’t bad. I tried to open the window but couldn’t, which was disappointing.

Going to Goyang for the concert was pretty convenient, the nearby amenities were decent, and the bathroom was large but lacked a clothes rack; the shower water was a bit small. We were four but only received two towels, three slippers, and three bottles of water; the lobby had free water, which was nice. The hotel is on the 7th floor, but the elevator only goes to the 6th, so you have to walk a floor with luggage. The room’s light was dim; there was a makeup table but no lamp, so it was hard to see. The room was spacious enough for four suitcases. It was also cheap.
