After getting off the elevator, the smell of cigarettes was noticeable, but I was glad I could smoke in my room. The price is reasonable and the breakfast was tasty. There were no major issues, except that it was raining and the borrowed umbrellas were insufficient; I wondered if more would have been available.

The location is great, right in the heart of Shin Sekai and just a few meters from Tsutenkaku Tower, with a convenience store nearby and restaurants open late. The room is very small and, with so many rooms, there’s only one elevator. Breakfast could be better; it mainly consists of various onigiris, soups, and pasta.

Everything was spotless, and as it was the first hotel I ever booked on my own, I didn’t know how to check in, but a staff member was incredibly kind and walked me through everything with a smile—it was wonderful. The room had no faults and was very comfortable. The only downside was the limited number of breakfast items, though they were tasty.
