“Perfect place nearby the local outdoor pool”
The location is quite central, within a 15‑minute walk from the outdoor pool, and even though the hotel sits on the main road, traffic isn’t heavy. The room was spacious, the bed perfect, and the AC worked well. The only issue was the lack of a fridge in the room; we were given a small portable one, which wasn’t enough for all the dairy we prepared for our child, and the staff advised that if it isn’t an apartment, it’s better to request a fridge in advance.
“HOTEL GRAN FELLINI-ŽIAR NAD HRONOM”
The staff were amazing, friendly and kind. Nearby is NOVÁ BAŇA; I recommend visiting the local museum, a beautiful spot. I also suggest checking out the towns BANSKÁ ŠTIAVNICA, BANSKÁ BYSTRICA, KREMNICA, etc. On the downside, the internet connection could be better, and the TV drops to 50 % during bad weather. The breakfast could switch up the menu entirely during the week.
Everything is fine. It would be nice to have some English‑language channels on the TV.
We were happy with everything.

The location is central for touring attractions within a 50 km radius. The downside is that it sits on a very noisy street.
