I highly recommend staying at the Centurion Resort, where Budi welcomed us with excellent service, and the rooms were very good quality with air conditioning and ventilation—all for an unbeatable price that included a good breakfast. The hotel is very well located near Habarana’s center and all the region’s activities. He can also suggest Nihal, a local friend who knows the area well, to take you on quality safaris at unbeatable prices.

It shouldn’t be advertised as a tourist hotel because it feels more like accommodation for tour drivers. I was the only woman there and felt uneasy, so I stayed in my room. On arrival I was approached to buy safari tours and other attractions. The next morning there was no water for a shower. It shouldn’t be listed on this site. When I asked for an extra sheet for the bed, I was given two single‑size sheets to use as a blanket on a double bed.

Nayana runs the hotel with great affection and attentiveness. When requested, breakfast was provided. He was always very caring and made sure we had everything we needed. Nihal, Nayana’s brother, was our driver during the days we were on site and took us on safari and to Sirgyria. Overall, a very nice and authentic place to stay in Habarana.

The owner was very helpful and attentive. He was a big help with getting around the nearby sites. Habarana is a strategic spot for everything you want to visit!

Not much to say. I’m even surprised it’s mentioned in a guide like the Routard. Very disappointed! I started there and almost regretted the whole trip because it was so bad. The staff don’t speak English. It clearly lacks basic courtesy. The bed was uncomfortable and the room was noisy, right next to the reception. The alarm at midnight and 7 am is a no‑go. The activities offered are often too expensive compared to the rest of the country. I’d say stay away.
