I arrived at 5 pm and the room wasn’t ready; I waited about 1 hour 30 minutes for it to be cleaned because they said they were fully booked and lacked enough housekeeping staff.
MPalace sits in a great spot and offers good value; the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent, but a wider range of options from day to day would improve things.
The hotel is close to everything you need. The air conditioning never reached the desired coolness, even after maintenance tried to fix it.

The location is strategic and the room was clean. It would help to provide at least two pillows for a superior‑size bed; requesting extra pillows costs RM10. A larger shampoo bottle would be preferable to the tiny one supplied, and the toilet light over the shower is dim. The blanket smelled like it hadn’t been used in ages, and an iron in each room would save waiting time. I hope these issues can be fixed, especially since this hotel’s rates are on the higher side compared with others. Thank you.
