The place was gorgeous, the pool was spotless, and the roof lounge was perfect for relaxing; it’s just two blocks from the bus to central Progreso and a 4‑minute walk to the beach. The host was very attentive and caring—when I missed my flight and arrived a day late she offered me an extra free night, but I had already booked elsewhere so I couldn’t take it. I would have liked the main gate light to stay on; it’s a bit frustrating trying to locate the right key with my phone flashlight, and a shorter Wi‑Fi password or a barcode next to it would help—currently it’s too long in my opinion.

The owner’s kindness was evident even though she wasn’t physically present; we could reach her via WhatsApp. The location is far from the center, so you’ll need a vehicle, and the neighborhood dogs bark all night.

The space is excellent—clean, comfortable, and very quiet, making it ideal for rest. The only improvement I’d suggest is adding screens in the rooms.
