Family rooms feature air‑conditioning, en‑suite bathrooms, a washing machine, work desk, and free WiFi. Guests dine on local cuisine at the on‑site restaurant, unwind at the bar, or enjoy a massage, outdoor fireplace, and karaoke. We stayed three nights at the JCAH, and the place is incredible! Araceli is a small town with no tourists, perfect for off‑the‑beaten‑path travel. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful; they arranged our on‑site activities, scooter rentals, and transport. There’s a restaurant and bar on site… And the location, right on a gorgeous beach, is ideal for kite surfing… In short, a paradisiacal spot!

The spot’s location is amazing, yet I prefer places that aren’t swamped by mass tourism. There’s quiet and calm, the beach is empty, the sea is warm and nice, the cabin is clean, and there are hammocks; if you need anything, there’s a general kitchen available, but the meals aren’t expensive and they’re good. The staff always happily give advice and handle things on the spot. Overall the owners are very kind and helpful, and communication with them is smooth when needed. The internet works well, the food is good, everything was great. If I return to the Philippines, I’ll definitely choose this place, not necessarily in February because I know that’s a windy period ideal for kitesurfing (there’s a school nearby). From what I’ve gathered, March or April would be better for a relaxed break. For me it’s a superb spot – I RECOMMEND.

We spent a week at JCAH. The guesthouse sits on a beautiful white‑sand beach, has friendly staff and a quiet vibe. The food is reasonably priced and we enjoyed swimming and exploring the area. We’d love to return! We didn’t mind the lack of hot water in the shower, but some travellers might not like it. The area is quite popular with kite‑surfing travellers, so it can be very windy at times (which was hard for us as non‑kites).

Nous étions dans le White cottage Beach Front (BF5). Emplacement calme. Logement très spacieux comportant 2 grands lits, 1 canapé et une salle de bain privée. Literie confortable. Logement propre. Notre hôte, Analyn, a été de très bon conseil, notamment dans l’organisation des transports tant pour arriver au logement que pour nous rendre à l’étape suivante. Si vous venez de Roxas, avant de bloquer vos dates, interrogez Analyn sur le fait que le bateau qui relie Roxas à Araceli soit bien en service ce jour là. Nous y avons bien mangé. Durant le début de notre séjour, les vents étaient assez forts et la marée a charrié pas mal de déchets. Peut-être un petit nettoyage en face de l’hôtel serait un plus ? La plage est cependant très grande et nous nous y sommes baignés avec plaisir
