It’s the second time I stay at Ferrade; Yolande will greet you enthusiastically and do everything to make your stay unforgettable. For me it feels like home. The property is wonderful and, even though it’s not in the city centre, it’s well served by public transport. The neighbourhood is very nice, quiet, with everything within reach.

The décor was stunning and the place was peaceful, everything worked perfectly and the Moroccan touches were elegant—absolutely superb! The owners, however, were constantly around, watching our backs and micromanaging everything, especially in the common areas. I suspect they were just having a rough time, but after 30 years running guesthouses, this is the first time I've seen such annoying behavior. They seem pretty friendly otherwise.

From the moment we arrived, Yolande and Benoît welcomed us with great kindness, turning the place into something truly magnificent. Every detail was thoughtfully designed with taste and refinement, creating a warm atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very quiet, ensuring a perfect night's rest. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful, and made with great care. We also valued the helpful advice from our hosts, who were always available and attentive to everyone’s wellbeing. La Ferrade’s location is ideal for exploring Bordeaux while enjoying a peaceful environment. Even after a short stay, we left enchanted by the charm of the place and the quality of the hospitality. A huge thank you to Yolande and Benoît for their remarkable hospitality. If we return to the Bordeaux region, we will definitely stay at La Ferrade again. It’s a true gem that we wholeheartedly recommend.
