The location and the mattress were okay. It was a bad experience: the sheets smelled of sweat and cigarettes, which you only notice when you get into bed. The curtains hang with hooks and eyes on the rails, the light flickers, and you feel drunk.

The place is right next to Brussels, which is great if you want to be close to the city. But the room was a tight squeeze for four people, and you can’t flush anything down the toilet – everything ends up in the balcony bin. So, good location, but not a big enough space for a family.

Checked in at 11 pm and the staff was super friendly, which made the late arrival feel easy. The room and kitchen were both solid, but the shower curtain in the tub was a bit weird. Overall, a nice stay with a small quirk.

I really enjoyed the peace and the environment here, and the host was just great. Nothing to complain about – it was a solid, relaxing stay.
