The place was nicely situated in Burford and had a good restaurant. The room was hot and noisy, especially over the kitchen exhaust hood.
“Great location from which to explore The Cotswolds.”
Style and decor along with a great location Breakfast was excellent. We also booked dinner for 2 of the 3 evenings, as the menu was superb - note the beef cheeks - so tender and tasty. Two standout members of the team, Chelsea and Cory, both very helpful with a friendly tone, assets to The Golden Pheasant
“Hotel cancelled last minute”
The only positive was that the reservation was cancelled last minute.
The staff were fantastic, and the food at the restaurant and breakfast was good.
The staff were lovely, but the rooms were not clean in any way; the sheets were clean but the rest of the room was dirty, with cobwebs everywhere in the bathroom.
