Overall the food was good; we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at THE SEASON restaurant, the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome, and the room view we chose was truly amazing—keep it up, THE CLIFF LIPE TEAM 👍👍👍. Maybe after 8 pm some lights can be turned on for those staying below the restaurant, as it was quite dark when we returned from town.

The hotel is very calm and peaceful, the staff are caring and very friendly, and the hotel is very comfortable. Nothing—everything was perfect. We had a minor air‑conditioning issue, but the staff were more than responsive in helping us have the best experience.

The view from the room and the restaurant is truly beautiful, the breakfast is really good, and the little beach with small canoes and snorkel gear is delightful. Safety is not something you take seriously; the locks on the doors are a wooden stick that can lock the door from inside or outside. One day the cleaning staff locked us in and the room phone didn’t work; the WhatsApp number previously communicated was not answered, neither in writing nor by call, and after more than two hours of being locked in my partner felt unsafe, so I had to kick the door open. My partner fell ill during our stay and could barely get out of bed on her own. I didn’t want her to lock the door from inside when I left because I feared she wouldn’t be able to lock it back when I returned, and I didn’t dare lock it from outside if she needed to get out. The staff offered to drive us to a doctor, but the driver only knew two health clinics, both closed. On a second attempt we asked staff to arrange an appointment with a doctor, the same driver drove us, again without knowing where the doctor was. Later it turned out no call had been made and they weren’t even sure they had a phone number for a doctor. We were promised various compensations and apologies, but have still not received any. We have now decided to end our stay one day earlier than planned.
