“Great location and lovely staff”

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed the dinner. Even though the hotel is older, it remains very clean and well maintained. The location is excellent—highly recommended. Everything was great!

“Very pleasant stay at an extremely convenient property.”

The location was right across from two ski lifts and a one‑minute walk to the bus stop that goes to and from Nagano Station. There was a huge, very cheap selection of ski/snowboard gear and clothing for hire—you could rent practically anything. The rooms could have had a bit more decoration, though.

The location, staff, and service were amazing. When my glasses broke, three people searched for a tiny screw and then offered me two pairs of theirs—so kind. As a vegetarian, they were again as accommodating as possible, and the experience was similar each night. The Osen facilities were very enjoyable, especially after a day of skiing. The water pricing could have been explained better before or during booking.

I stayed right in front of Takatenagahara Mammoth Ski Resort, and the food service staff were really pleasant. Every floor had a water station and a toilet, which was handy. The vending machine was there, but it wouldn’t accept new bills or 500‑yen coins, and the currency exchange machine was broken.
