Breakfast was great and the boulevard and beach were just a short walk away; there was nothing negative to mention, although I only discovered after booking that the hotel is geared toward visually impaired guests, which turned out to be perfect given the garden and on‑site parking.

The balcony was a nice perk and the beach was just a short walk away, though there weren’t many supermarkets or shops nearby and everything felt a bit out of the way.

I arrived late from the Finnline ferry in Travemünde on my bike and still managed to catch a makeshift dinner at 22.00, thanks to the very friendly staff. The hotel feels a bit “90s,” but that’s part of its charm. It’s guest‑friendly and affordable, and it’s specifically designed for visually impaired guests, which sometimes means extra help pouring coffee at the breakfast table—a perspective shift for people with visual impairments. The bathroom is spacious, and the kitchen/bar is very cheap. Cyclists looking for a stopover would find it worth staying for one night.
